Both chicken dishes were lovely, and a decent amount of chicken and fresh ingredients. We also had a squid starter and a prawn dish, which came with little containers of the dipping sauces, and were all good portion sizes. We will be back!

The owner... read more It is important to note that we had eaten at the Sandrock multiple times after the 29th of September 2019 and this issue was never brought up before. The owner also mentioned that other customers had also not paid for their meals, hinting that it might be a common occurrence due to confusion among their staff about which till to use. This suggests that the restaurant should investigate their own staff regarding this matter. We felt extremely uncomfortable and unfairly pressured to pay for a meal we had already paid for due to the continuous accusations made in front of other guests. Despite enjoying their Thai food, we have decided not to return to the Sandrock due to the disrespectful behavior of the kitchen owner and the questionable actions of their staff. We strongly advise that you always ask for a receipt when paying for your meal at the Sandrock to avoid a similar situation where your payment is not properly recorded.

The Thai food was fresh and authentic, with very reasonable prices and friendly staff. We will definitely return!
