This was the only place that we found to have a garden so that we could sit in the last of the afternoon’s sun. I don’t much like these brand name chains but I’d certainly go back to this one. Coffee was good. The staff were extremely pleasant and the girl who was working there went out of her way to help us find a place to eat that evening. View all feedback.
What Darkbyte doesn't like about Costa Coffee:
Just popped in this cafe, and it's not too bad as it's not improved and has not got worse. But we still see tables still have cutlery left on the tables. I notice customers are arriving and have to shift them to sit down. I think they need to just get on top of it a bit more. The staff was nice enough and the service was quick and welcoming. Visited on Monday. No hot chocolate. Cakes looking barren. Last visit only one member of staff in. Drink was pretty poor. Used to love costa but there’s better in godalming now.
The tables, chairs and parts of the floor were clean. The rest of the premises can l only be described as utterly filthy. Doors, windows, all the fittings behind the counter and the electronic menu screen were disgusting. It was obvious that a thorough clean had not been done for done for a very long time. The preparation areas were dirty and untidy. Worse still the whole place has a horrible smell like sour milk or cheese. I will definitely not return and will also contact Waverley Borough Environmental Health.
Excellent, friendly staff, good range of light food options and drinks, plenty of seats (indoors and outside). Always the option I choose when in town and would highly recommend it to others.
Uninterested staff. When attitude counts more than the person, customer cannot be heard (blond young lady) 5* goes to the place, 0* goes to some of the staff, an average of 2,5 is what you get. I've made it 3* cause I am generous,
Indifferent service and was asked to move seat to accommodate a local business that wanted to meet … all very odd and certainly not welcoming.
