Caffe Nero - Waverley
Caffe Nero
Description
Caffe Nero presents a varied experience for patrons, with some enjoying its charm while others express concern over cleanliness and service. While many appreciate the cozy ambiance and welcoming staff, consistent cleanliness issues, such as visible grime and unpleasant encounters with flies, have been noted. Service quality can fluctuate based on staff efficiency, though the atmosphere allows for comfortable conversations or quiet work. Despite mixed reviews, loyal customers find joy in the coffee offerings, unique surroundings, and the establishment’s amiable approach to community support. Overall, Caffe Nero remains a place of potential, albeit with room for improvement.

Myself and my daughter visited on Saturday. It was pouring with rain. I ordered egg sandwich and my daughter has a vegetable sausage roll. We had pistachio cake and two hot chocolates . The man behind the counter was welcoming and friendly and bought our order up to us upstairs as requested.
This store has been going down hill, but last week was a new low. The place was full of flies and as we sat there we saw why. The whole place was incredibly grimy, cobwebs from floor to ceiling had ensnared many flies, piles of crumbs in the corners of floors and windows. I couldn’t wait to leave. Think I’ll be finding somewhere else for my weekly coffee stop.
I'm a regular here and it never fails to disappoint! Lovely atmosphere and downstairs is a nice quiet place to work of just relax with friends. Also a plus that they allow dogs here, love seeing all their cute faces!
I enjoyed stopping by Nero's in Godalming for a hot chocolate. The cafe had a very sensible and safe setup with plenty of space. Thank you for a great experience, and the drinks were fantastic as always.
I’m not sure whether this is the right branch but my travelling buddy assured me that it is. Will just have to take her word for it. We just arrived in Guildford from Malaysia was about to look for a simcard. However, my friend was hungry decided to grab a bite at Caffe Nero. I got us a table while she busied herself at the counter, checking out the food in the chiller. She finally settled on a smoked salmon sandwich with cheese, espresso brownie a latte which she had graciously shared with me. Must say that the sandwich was good the dessert even better! We took our time before leaving. The table was small the brick walls grew on me. I liked the atmosphere ambience. There were many nooks for singles, too. However, service was quite slow. I would probably visit again given the chance as one can enjoy his coffee or tea in privacy without feeling awkward.
