Café 140 in Cranleigh offers a captivating blend of a charming café and eclectic gift shop. Was DevonJasper at Cafe 140 a mag?
I like this place very much, good food, friendly owner and staff an excellent place for a lazy late breakfast. I think it could do with a few more vegetarin items on the menu and slightly smaller portions but hey its a great chill out venue View all feedback.

Such a shame ! Called in for light lunch before visiting friends. What has happened ? The upstairs cafe used to the place to go. You always had to reserve a table. What has happened to this once lovely restaurant. It has closed the upstairs and we were squashed into a small area at the back of the shop. The menu has been shortened to about seven choices, more snack food than a meal, by the time the hard working waitress had rushed upstairs and got our food, it was tepid when we got it. And definitely not well cooked. My grandson and his girlfriend were visiting and we took them for a treat, the treat turned into a nightmare, I wished we had walked out and crossed the road to the Yangaz. Altogether it cost over £70 for just four modest meals and a drink each, and we came home hungry.

Lovely, welcoming café in this beautiful independent high street shop. Always sure of a good meal, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and great, friendly and attentive service.

Lunch was very good with friendly waitresses who were very efficient . The problem with this place is the prices they are charging for the gifts etc downstairs. At least 4 times the prices of Dunelm for what looks to be identical products. Stop treating the good people of Cranleigh as cash cows, even the middle classes are flocking to the likes of Lidl and Dunelm now as school fees and mortgages rocket.
