Les Halles Wavre - Waver

The food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and paired with an impressive selection of wines. I would give it 4 stars, only deducting one for the absence of a sommelier.

Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Wavre and the region. We don't expect to find this small restaurant located at the end of a shopping centre, but whatever, we don't come here by chance but because we love the kitchen and the wine. The restaurant communicates directly with Les Halles, the caviste. We can therefore enjoy multiple wines with glass and spread with its favourite wine box. The decoration is cozy. Excellent kitchen. We discovered new flavours with mushrooms (sublimes) or langoustine with citrus fruits, angus beef with chimichuri in slow cooking (a slaughter). The beard isn't bad either even if more classic. A beautiful opening on the world that combines both culinary tradition and innovation.

As always are enchanted, marvelous chef de cuisine Jordy, scattered with a new right arm, a young lady, the very friendly Michel in the room, how happy to be able to resume our very good taste habits. A food oasis on the N268. A limited, but excellent selection of dishes and a rich wine list (from the wine store this resto is part of recommended as well for some after dining takeaway). Friendly and helpful service.
