From the ice cream to the sweets this is the perfect stop. Staff are friendly. The shop is well organised and the layout maximises the products they can offer which is fantastic. There’s something for everyone in this shop. With some real quirky sweets for adults and children alike. View all feedback.
What mumof3adventures doesn't like about Beaches Cream:
The ice cream is delicious, but the service leaves much to be desired. When I went with my three children, they were each given adult-sized ice creams that were way too big for them. My kids are all under 5 years old, so I ended up paying £12 for three ice creams. When I asked if they had kids sizes available, I was told no. It's clear that if you have young children, you would expect them to have a smaller portion.... View all feedback.
Huge ice creams and amazing service; my little girl chose a taste, tried it, but it didn't like it, so she gave her another without extra cost. some imported American tasty also!
The best ice in southwold! a sling is more like two, great selection of aromen, some that they don't find otherwise. friendly staff. they can also buy sweets and postcards here.
We love this little friendly run shop, we pop every year when were on vacation and this year my wife was beside herself when she saw the sign for vegan mint-choco chip ice cream, yes please and I enjoyed the vegan honeycomb ice cream, we are not vegan, but my wife has a milk allergy and she was desperate for a big selection.
Beautiful small business with a good selection of sweets, chalk and snacks from the usa, Australians and beyond. as with all such imported contracts, they expect to pay a premium. good selection of ice creams with some different flavors, and we even have a dog-friendly ice treatment for our youngs.
For those with a sweet tooth, I guess this'll be a must visit whilst in Southwold. It's not a large shop, but it has large selection of all things confectionery. I don't think I've ever seen such a vast selection of American sweets and treats together either, not just the usual Twinkies Tootsie rolls, and includes beverages and snacks too, and even some Japanese stuff. Obviously with the cost of importing etc, none of the American Japanese stuff is very cheap, in fact some of it seems very expensive for what it is, but obviously quite unique, and worth it for the American sugary taste experience.
