Good City Brewing - Wauwatosa

Just ordered grilled cheese for carry out. The outside crust was so dry and hard. It seemed like they hadn’t put butter on it. Very disappointing.

A very cool space. Unbelievably short staffed. After an hour of waiting for our food, we were told they were out of everything we ordered. Won’t go back.

The Cajun fries are excellent, but the smoky BBQ chicken is just okay. Unfortunately, none of my appetizers came with the sauces they were supposed to have, which was disappointing!

The restaurant was not ready with my order when the delivery driver arrived, prompting the driver to leave without it. As a result, DoorDash had to reassign another driver, and the restaurant had to process my order again, which they clearly weren’t pleased about. The quality of the order reflected this frustration—there was no sauce for the cheese curds, and the container meant for my sandwich and fries looked like it had been through a wash cycle. It was a complete mess. I’ve enjoyed their food in the past and even left positive reviews, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other options available on DoorDash.

It’s uncertain if my family and I will return. During our last two visits, the bar was out of several beer options. Moreover, they were frequently out of mixers, and being cashless created additional inconvenience, as even the staff mentioned. The food was average at best, and during our visit, there were no servers available. In short, we are disappointed and will wait until we hear that these issues have been addressed before considering a return.
