Great spot in a great village. Wauwatosa is a lovely place to visit and Cafe Hollander is the perfect place to park it for a while and enjoy some food and drink. Visit the farmers market across the street too if you get a chance and it's the right time of year. Nice comfy and friendly atmosphere (we ate inside because it was very hot and humid). The outside seating looked like it would be a great way to take a break.... View all feedback.
What Madyun W doesn't like about Cafe Hollander Tosa Village:
Cafe Hollander offers a delightful European-inspired breakfast experience. However, I feel this location in particular cuts a lot of corners on the quality of their ingredients. They also made my **** Mary wrong which is all premixed and very hard to do as a bartender myself lol. Our waiter was amazing we were seated in a beautiful location promptly. From now on I will make sure to go to the third ward location becau... View all feedback.
The Tosa Cafe Hollander is probably my favorite location. This time we arrived 12:30 and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table of 3. There appeared to be a large group of players, parents and coaches that were taking up the bulk of the upper level seating so it was quite noisy. Food was a bit delayed more than normal but was delicious. We ordered the BELT-A sandwich, chicken salad and brussels/ beef salad. We could not fully enjoy since we had a time constraint but the food was really good.
For many years, Cafe Hollander has been our reliable choice when we're craving outdoor dining and a chance to people-watch in the Village. The food is always fresh and delicious, and their selection of beers is truly remarkable! It's the ideal place for dinner or a weekend brunch.
Went on a date with my wife and we enjoyed ourselves at Cafe Hollander. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The mussels were delicious accompanied by crispy fries and a variety of dipping sauces. We watched the Bucks game while drinking some tasty beers and seltzers. I highly recommend this place.
My favorite part about visiting this location is the outdoor patio area. The Tosa village is always lively, and sitting next to the river is relaxing on a nice day. I appreciate that they have gluten-free options, though I do hope they add some more vegan options at some point. I usually opt for the Benelux salad and the beet burger is pretty tasty. I visited for my birthday and they treated me with a fudge brownie which was nice!
To start the food was absolutely amazing. From the cheescurds and muscles to the main entrees. The sconnie burger was great, ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. At the end of the meal everyone's plate was empty!
