Treu's Tic Toc - Wausau

The bartender was very sociable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the crowd was welcoming.

When we first arrived, the bartender gave us some unfriendly looks, which made us feel a bit out of place. We ordered a few drinks, and after a moment, the bartender seemed to relax a bit, but overall, I didn't feel very welcomed. We ended up leaving after just one drink. On our way out, I took a glance at the menu, and it seemed to have some appealing options. Perhaps next time I'll visit when the bartender is in a better mood, as I would love to try the food here. I know the owner's son, and they seem like a great family running the place. The atmosphere has a friendly, down-to-earth vibe, and there are plenty of slots and games to keep the adults entertained.

I was disappointed during my visit. I went for a fish fry, but the fish turned out to be soggy and lacking flavor. It was served on top of greasy, soggy French fries, which only made the fish worse. The cheese hash browns were not really hash browns at all; they were just lukewarm cubed potatoes with a small amount of melted cheese. Everything was served on paper plates with plastic forks. The parking situation was chaotic, and to enter, I had to walk through a crowd of smokers. The only highlight of my experience was the friendly bartender.

I visited Treu's for drinks and appetizers with my coworkers after work. The food and drinks were excellent, and I was thrilled to find my favorite, Bull Falls beer. The atmosphere was fantastic as well.

The food always impresses us, particularly their Hot Roast Beef sandwiches! The prices are quite reasonable as well!
