What User doesn't like about Polito's Pizza:
Orders 14 in sausage pizza with extra sausage and easy pizza sauce. Got pizza and it barley had any sausage in half and there was alot of pizza sauce. This isnt the first time. Happened several times in past. Suck though the pizza is good when made right. View all feedback.
The pizza by the slice is fantastic! We visited during a busy time, and despite the rush, the staff served us with a smile. I highly recommend this place if you're in search of delicious pizza.
I dined in and also got takeout! You can't go wrong with their pizza and garlic knots. We opted for the combo of 2 slices, 2 sodas, and a garlic knot for $13 (plus tax), and I also ordered a 20-inch pizza to take home. The staff is always friendly.
When we arrived, there was quite a variety of pizza slices available, but I was a bit disappointed. Instead, the kids and I chose to share a 14-inch Mac and Cheese pizza, which turned out to be a good decision since Mac and Cheese is a favorite of ours. Hopefully, next time I'll be able to get one of my favorite pizzas while the boys enjoy their Mac and Cheese.
Polito's is by far the best pizza in Wausau. Now I could be a little bias because I grew up in NJ and their style of pizza, the decor, and the flavors all remind me of Jersey. I also truly love being able to get pizza by the slice.
Great pizza, wide selection with great prices. Will be my new favorite pizza joint.
