The food was really great. No issues with the quality of anything shown here. The Brussels sprouts were great, with a nice complimentary sauce. The beer batter was nice, crispy and light. The fried chicken, smothered with a Cajun sauce, shrimp, artichoke and sausage was great! It was slightly too salty for me, but eaten with the beans and mashed potatoes it was great. Nice heat. The good: it is so pretty when you first walk in, our server was beyond amazing, the pot pie was one of the best we've ever had, the smothered chicken was pretty good too. The bad: we were sat at a pretty dirty table adjacent to the bar where an employee (I'm assuming off the clock) was sitting and having a few drinks while video chatting on and off in between watching videos on her phone with the volume full blast..... Good food, friendly service, but just a little slow. We stopped for dinner on Sunday night. I was impressed by the construction and design of the interior. It seemed kind of fluctuating, but not overlaid and stuffy. Our server was friendly, but seemed to forget something. I had the steakhouse salad, although it was a little overpriced for a salad. The children loved the waffles! My daughter liked her Mac and cheese. We would try again if we were in the area.
We are usually great fans of the Dane. However, this last visit was a miss. The pub burger itself was good but the lettuce, tomato, and onion have seen better days. They still have great beer and friendly staff but they are struggling like everyone else with the short staff issues. 4 stars for this visit since our to go entrees, while still good, where missing salsas, had the wrong side dishes, and again the burger toppings where old and wilted. Hopefully the next time we go it’ll be back up to it’s usual great food!
Had a bit of an issue with my food, however it was quickly corrected very swiftly, other than that the second dish was perfect no issues at all, totally worth the money. I will eat here again
If you think about getting the reubs, go for it! Our server Carly was also fantastic! Great place for lunch.
We always have a great experience in the Great Danes.
