Brokaw Corners - Wausau

This is a nice local bar with cheap drinks and a decent menu.

Friday fish fry was the mission. I ordered perch, 1/5. My wife had cod and that was 5/5! The Perch was not your typical yellow perch Wisconsin staple. I 'm thinking it was ocean perch, or white perch. That would explain the menu name perch . Also it was over-cooked. We like Brokaw Corners for fish/food. We 'll be back but the perch is definitely off our menu...

Bartender had like ten customers and made it seem like the bar was packed full of college kids which resulted in waiting forever to get a drink. I even waited 15 minutes to get another drink because it took her half an hour to take food orders for seven people. If I go back and she is bartending I will just walk out and go elsewhere.

I feel like I'm the queen of the barkfish and that's worthy of the queen The cash had the perfect light of bread on it, the Fillets are huge and delicate and the price is unbeatable! Simply dragged to Wausau, so this is really a great find and I spread the word

It is a very lively place and Tunes 2 Go brings karaoke every month.
