Back When Cafe - Wausau

The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. The varied menu made it difficult to taste the meal. The chicken and artichoke was fabulous, reasonable...made you want to lick the plate! Dessert from Peach Berry Crisp was the perfect conclusion. The hard-working personnel during the trials are praised. Bravo!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. We were outside and it was nice! Erin was our server and she was very friendly and helpful with questions we had. The chocolate cake is AMAZING!!!

This is the only restaurant we have visited in the pandemic. My daughter and I visited Packers game in a Thursday evening at the beginning of November and felt very safe inside. The food was wonderful, the staff was friendly, and the tables were safe. Shares and prices were appropriate. We enjoyed the meatball Caesar Salat and Gnocchi with a glass of wine and a Shirley Temple. Definitely recommend.

The food was amazing and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Desserts are to die for as well, especially the tiramisu, lemon olive cake and upside down cranberry cake, yum!! My wild mushroom pasta was amazing as well. Will go back in a heartbeat!
