What C doesn't like about Athens Grill Of Westport:
Got the lamb and beef gyro for lunch with baklava and was very disappointed. The meat tastes solely like hamburger meat with about a full onion cut up on top. Always a good dining experience at Athens. A little quieter the day after July 4, but still a churning crowd, so sat at the bar. Chicken lemon soup is velvety rich. IMO, the lightly battered crust on the cod and perch fish fries ranks as one the best in and around Madison. Tried the GF bun (wrapped in foil but it could have used a little more butter or maybe a dipping oil, but its probably not a frequently ordered it... View all feedback.
