We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! It was a girls' night out, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ellen, our instructor, was amazing—very patient with us, especially since we weren't off to a great start. After a safety briefing, she demonstrated various techniques for improving our forms. What User doesn't like about Lumber Axe:
The place was quite clean and well-organized. While I didn't come specifically to throw axes, it looked like so much fun, and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. It's definitely a lot cooler than bowling! I would definitely return. For $30, you get 90 minutes of fun with good drinks. They even had a band called "Too Feet Tall," and they were pretty good. First time ax throw with the woman and joined our friends to a birthday event, great time.
This place is awesome. The are throwing is a blast, they have a decent beer selection, and they have a pretty cool cocktail list that were rather tasty as well. In addition to the bar and axe throwing they have pool, darts, pinball, and skeeball. I went with friends and we had an absolute blast. I'll be back for sure.

Ellen was fantastic! First time throwing and she was very attentive and encouraging. Any tips or techniques we needed, she was there and guiding us. Can't wait to return!
