This place is cute and worth the stop!! Please do yourself a favor and get a big thing of popcorn- it seems ridiculous that you’d order it, BUT IT IS AMAZING and well-worth it!! The root beer was good, not great, and I was excited about the root beer frosty but it was not really good- didn’t have a lot of flavor and a bit icy. The chicken Parmesan sandwich exceeded expectations but the bun was just like a cheap bun.... View all feedback.
Stopped here for my lunch break highly recommend a Chilli dog with fries their homemade rootbeer.

Overall, I’d definitely go back for more popcorn and the Cedar Crest ice cream they sell but probably not much else.
Classic drive in fare done really well. Best onion rings in the city!
No complaints! Cute little root beer shop with good prices and friendly staff.
It 's John 's Like Jimmy 's Grotto, a Waukesha staple, and for good reason. Ownership has changed hands since I first started going here back in the day (1950s). It was a A&W early on, and in 1974 went independent. Get a Frosty.
