Ikigai Sushi - Waukegan

To be honest, I had some doubts about a sushi restaurant in waukegan, but! this place had so worthy great reviews and hey are all true! peter, was the best server ever, so attentive and funny. we had gone for an early mother's lunch and tried the Willis Tower, which was heavenly, and ramen and Korean huh, which were all so delicious! had the best time! they love the view of the place and the eating is at the point! a place on the greenbay!

I heard someone talk about ikigai at a nearby brewery, so we were very excited to try a sushi spot in waukegan. we were not satisfied with ikigai. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. our server offered to answer all the questions we had about the menu, and the service was very fast. we ordered the chicken and black dumplings as an appetizer. they were unbelievable, and I loved the sose so much that I asked to keep the sose for our rolling. our server brought us a fresh bowl of sauce because I loved it very much. we ordered three different rolls for dinner the spicy thunfish roll, the spider roll and the waukegan roll. I couldn't tell you what my favorite was. they were all amazing and the portions of the fish in each roll were super generous. Note: I always have problems with the use of chipsticks. (I owe it to you to be left behind, but I know that's just an excuse. one of the employees recognized this and immediately offered a great tutorial on the use of file printers. it was very appreciated! we will definitely be regular!

We both shared an appetizer. We both ordered Ramen. We shared a sushi roll. Enjoyed the ambiance and service. We both left full. I will go back soon. Very happy with the quality and portions

The food was delicious as always. Our waiter was SWAMPED with every table being occupied but he was hustiling the entire time our large party of was there. He did his best to give us great service. Kudos to him

Don't be fooled. Upon arrival, you think you are either going to buy a used car or walk into a boarded up old restaurant. Walk through the doors and you find a delightful little restaurant with great food and excellent service thank you Rayna hope I spelled your name correctly
