It looks like a great place! They have a pool table, which is a nice feature that you don't see very often. Unfortunately, it was really crowded with a school sports team when I visited, so I didn't stay. I'll definitely come back another time and provide a more detailed review. View all feedback.
What ERICKGHOSTS doesn't like about Mickey's Irish Pub Waukee:
During our first and only visit to this restaurant, we observed that at the table next to us, a group of Latinos was dining. One member of the group spoke English quite well, but the others did not. Unfortunately, one of the waitresses told him she didn't understand him and opted not to serve them. They waited nearly 15 minutes until another waitress noticed they hadn't placed their order. Burger and waffle fries were very good. Service was good, drinks didn't go dry.
We've been here many times and have never left disappointed. It's about 50/50 bar and restaurant, very clean, and wonderful homey atmosphere with lots of oak. Food is all standard american fare, but they do have a few unique items and is consistently good! Best nachos around and their pork tenderloin is fantastic! Staff have always been great, attentive and pleasant! We've been to their trivia night a few times which is always great fun!
Great location, staff and food. We use this as our local casual spot for drinks and food. They never disappoint!
Very friendly staff and great environment. Came in on game day and could still have a conversation and enjoys the game
