"A very charming restaurant in the small village of Watou, full of locals and well-decorated. The staff were welcoming, and the kitchen had views and pictures of famous guests on the walls. The service was excellent, and the chef personally welcomed us. We started with the Th Hommelhof Cuvee and then opted for the fish tasting menu, which was paired perfectly with each dish. Everything was flavorful, tender, and well-balanced. Two of us particularly enjoyed the mackerel and cricket appetizer, but taste is subjective. Four women thoroughly enjoyed this excellent lunch experience.".
Environment, atmosphere and excellent reception. a bmol as to the rate the map and the suggestions viter) of the friendly waitress: for an egg poch with salmon 25 it is exagr. It's expensive that foie gras! beautiful dcouverte malgr la note.
The village is quaint with a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant matches this ambiance perfectly - it's beautiful. Despite being quite busy, the service was decent. For appetizers, we tried a dish featuring local meat, which was delicious. The menu offered an excellent selection, including a tasty pigeon dish. The wine selection was good as well. Overall, we were very pleased with our dining experience and found it to be well worth it.
We visited a very charming restaurant in the small village of Watou. The interior was beautifully decorated with a native touch and we were warmly greeted by the staff. The kitchen had a lovely view and there were pictures of famous guests on the walls. We started with the Thormelhof cuvèe and opted for the fishbow menu, which included beer paired with each dish. The food was flavorful, delicate, and well-balanced. Our group of four women particularly enjoyed the hood served with the mackerel and the kriek with the dessert, although tastes may vary. Overall, we had an excellent lunch experience at this restaurant.
Environment, atmosphere and excellent reception. a flat on the menu rate and suggestions to be avoided) of the very friendly waitress: for an egg poached with salmon at 25€ it is exaggerated. It's expensive that foie gras! beautiful discovery despite the note.
We have spent a pleasant time, the map is varied, very good dishes are offered, especially game, accompaniments are excelent to very good quality. and finally desserts were of the same quality. Everyone was happy!
