The salmon sushi and sashimi was AMAZING and it melts in your mouth. This was my first here and is one of the best YO sushi I have ever had. It’s expensive depending of the colour of the dish and salmon dishes was the most expensive but it’s was the BEST. The staff were friendly and nice. Would go again specially for salmon sashimi!!!! What Holly Cox doesn't like about Yo! Sushi:
Enjoyed most the hot dishes and felt the sushi was reasonable. Our faves were the gyoza, popcorn shrimp and the Japanese fried chicken. I was quite disappointed with the service as we had to prompt for basics such as soy sauce, wasabi and ginger for our sushi. Wasn’t too impressed that I asked for something and the staff member just carried on cleaning so I had to ask another person for the item. Would return if ther... View all feedback.
We went up and after the attempt to see several places in watford with “you have not booked” grubs, bens inviting smiles and I will have two minutes a table for them keeping was refreshing. had a great eating and sharpening with the team....Big screamed after ben, who was fun and was worth the experience!
A lot of eye rolling when we wanted a paper menu instead of ordering by QR code. eating was as expected at yo, but the service was very subduing, probably because they are so used to that people are only digital without that. they talk to a human.
The new system doesn’t appear to work very well, half our order didn’t turn up as it should have done. The prices have gone up significantly and the portions are smalller. Apparently Yo Sushi are now gauging people to make up for lost profits. Will...not be hurrying back.
All negative reviews about small portions and high prices, they believe them! the children's menu costs £6.95, includes a selection of pornstars, a side and a drink that is a good value. but a hungry 7-year-old wanted the standard chicken katsu, which costs only £7.40....She got exactly the same big dish as the one in the children's menu and, said my sister, definitiw much smaller than before. then we had to order other dishes to make the difference. we asked about this and said that was right and that we had spent 3 pounds or so extra to get the big one. (the latter has pointed out a larger bowl as she told us). my sister, who was before me, told me that the portions are generally shrunk. when they come hungry, it costs them. and still a minus: when ordering they are invited to cross the service charge box (ordering is done via QR code/app. because it is a transport belt system that is a cynical cashier, especially when we had to ask something and also another set of clinking (we were three, but only two orders were given to us) eating itself is also nothing to write home, system gastronomy, nothing more. all in all poor worth and a disappointing experience.
We stood up for our meal we had booked but not even eaten! the personal was blown over the switch and looked through their phones, even the person who wiped the tables had their dirty shoes over the seats! no wonder. the restaurant was empty was not a great impression! I can't comment on eating, but I can say I won't visit on the basis of the staff!
