The restaurant is no longer worth visiting since the change in ownership. It has deteriorated significantly. The previous owners knew that both the service and the food were equally important. View all feedback.

As a competitor has opened up in the village which is far better (and cleaner) this place has struggled. The new owners haven't improved the takeaway and if anything is worse. The menu boards have lights out (or turned off to save on electricity) and the place is grubby and tired. I only use it for takeaway chips and even those aren't very good!
We just ordered a Kebab platter from here which we have done on many occasions previously. We were informed that they no longer did this but would put something together for us. When my husband went to collect they charged him £25 even though the actual price is £14.90 and all we had was 2 pitta breads, a selection of meat equivalent to a large mixed kebab and some hummus. When I rang to complain I was told that I couldn't speak to the manager as he doesn't speak English even though the person on the phone was relaying my complain in English to him! Absolutely appalling service! Will not be going there again!
We were really hungry and could find anything to eat we passed by and saw they were open, we ordered haddock and chips, we had take away, the fish batter was soggy and the chips were awful, and the place looked scruffy and not very pristine would eat here again
Michael's Fish and Grill has a reputation for subpar customer service, despite having polite and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there is a consistent delay in receiving the food and the delivery seems random. However, the food is reasonably priced and of good quality.
