I recently spent a weekend in Watford and visited Mangan's restaurant on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. It was top-notch. The place was clean and just the right size. They had a great selection of drinks and the owners and staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring no one had to wait long for their drinks. I will definitely be returning. Our group of 42 people of all ages found it to be the perfect spot to hang out and we enjoyed playing pool, darts, and listening to the jukebox. The pints were great and we had a lot of fun.

I stopped by after a meeting and was warmly welcomed. Came back the next week and was greeted like old friends.

This cozy pub may not have a proper outdoor space, but it makes up for it with a welcoming crowd most days of the week. They offer a great selection of lagers and ales, which are well-maintained.

We were staying in Watford while down South for the Harry Potter Studios Tour 4 adults and 2 children). We had flown from Glasgow at 4am that morning and just needed somewhere to sit, relax, chat and have a few drinks. There were kids in our group and they were welcomed into the bar. They played pool at the back of the room £1 per game) and picked some songs on the Juke Box 50p for 2 songs). The lady behind the bar was lovely and chatted with us about our plans for our visit. There were a few locals at the bar who chatted with us and the kids. We found it to have a friendly and relaxing vibe. You don't always get that friendly welcome when bringing kids into a small local bar so that was nice. If you are looking for somewhere to chill I would recommend here. I would add that it was a Thursday we visited around 1pm so it would likely be busier on evenings and weekends so may not be as ideal for children to visit at those times.

Its friendly and tidy. Staff are good and great for watching the sport on TV. Pool table is also good but can be busy.
