ordered what was supposed to a fresh cream mine craft cake for my daughter's birthday. Firstly it wasn't ready when it was supposed to be and secondly the attempt to look like mine craft was horrible. The cake looked and tasted awful. The best cake in town! I visited cake king at three locations for special events and I was never disappointed. the torts are made to perfection and the customer service is second to none, excellent service. the comments I receive from friends and family when they have a piece of cake, is wow that made this cake, I simply answer cake king in watford. I'll see you soon.
Had coffee and had customized cake from here, attentive and real service, and great selection of handmade cakes in the offer. it has been found that the product may occasionally be a little different to order (they have informed me) but it is difficult to get out of the process when it is close to the event date. but a great option to king to cake for the services they offer.
The icy cake of the cake king is the best I ever had. their cakes are really delicious. also the employees are really helpful when discussing the phone, in person or email. very fast answer. many thanks for the beautiful cake they arranged for us.
Really great cake shop on St Albans Road. Their cakes remind me of wonderful cakes we use to have in Mumbai. The cream is no delicious and light. Does not appear to be fattening. There are many different varieties available and you do not have to just buy the full cake, you can pop in and have a coffee and a slice too. Plus they stock some other dry spicy Indian snacks too. I have bought these on many occasions for birthdays as well as a desert for guests and every-time there is not a morsel left within half an hour! By the way there is a lot of pay and park for 30-40 min around. will cost you something like 20-30 p to park. It is the King of Cakes in Watford!!! Don't buy stale cakes from supermarkets!!
Beautiful concept cake for all occasions, I have tried for b 'days, big small parties and gift for people and was appreciated by all for exceptional softness and excellent taste. I tried cake in other shops in watford, but nothing is closer to cake king. So, cake king is truly king and I would highly recommend, all at least once and later try, I am sure that they do not need any recommended.
