The manager has truly transformed this pub, and I absolutely love going there now. I was quite disappointed with it in recent years, but it has really improved. The atmosphere is delightful, and even though I don't have a dog, I appreciate how dog-friendly it is, complete with a special menu for our furry friends! Overall, the food was quite impressive, but the service left much to be desired. The atmosphere was average, making it a decent place to visit if you're looking for good meals like the Sticky Toffee Pudding, Fish and Chips, and Sunday Roast. However, be prepared for potentially disappointing service.
Great pub for an evening visit. friendly staff and good food. well distributed tables and much circulation space. it's worth trying.
Great food at a decent price, I would highly recommend.
Always a pleasure to visit here, most recently on my birthday. Delightful food as always and it's always so flavoursome. Dog friendly too which is an added bonus, where they welcome them with a bowl of water and biscuits and if they are hungry you have the option to buy a special meal just for them.
One of the best, if not the best pub in Hampshire. Landlord and staff are top notch and very friendly going out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food is exceptional and fairly priced. Definitely one hostelry to return to
