While some customers have experienced slow service and cold food, others have praised the friendly staff and great meals. With recent changes in kitchen staff, the quality of food seems to have improved. Despite some complaints about service and takeout protocol, the overall consensus is positive, especially with regards to friendly and accommodating staff. The atmosphere is family-friendly, making it a nice place to visit for a satisfying meal. Give it a shot and decide for yourself if it meets your expectations.
The prizes are great and the huh was pretty good too. because it is a cheaper choice, poutine and perogies are not the best in the opposite, but they get what they pay. the staff was super friendly while picking up and eating was pretty fast ready. good option for a simple and cheap lunch.
Manager here is super friendly and helpful. Helped me through a app issue where we received an order that wasn't confirmed plus an uber eats order. Despite it not being through her location she was super friendly. Highly recommend this location over the highland one.
Amazing food as always, sometimes customer service is not on point.
It is our favorite place to dine with the family. eating is great and service is great! we always have a good time in swiss chalet.
Tonight was a big disappointment. we usually order from the kitchener swiss chalet, but from some reason we could not order online. that is not the first time we were disappointed with eating from the waterloo. King St place, but thought it might be a good time. at the arrival there was a series of people to get their online orders. complete inefficiency of the employees who are organized to keep how the people entered the restaurant to place an order personally, to foot at the front of the line oblivious that all had already in the line had not even in the position to speak with any staff at the theke to see if their order was ready. while I have already put my order, my food is probably ready and cold, while the personal amounts of people who come into the restaurant to place orders. this led to people getting their orders from the series and delaying everyone who arrived to pick up their order. Persons entering the restaurant to place orders in person should be asked how to get in touch with all others or have a separate pick-up or order line. and should be called out when they are hot and ready to do not give the counter when they are finally coming to the counters when they are hot and ready to do not give the then we come to home (less than 10 min) and the order lacks a roll, everything is cold, the riders soggy and rough, while a piece huhn is pulled out a long hair that is just made mowing. only, it wasn't. good! won't order again by King st. we were more and more than satisfied with eating and service at the victoria st location. not sure why online order was not available, but hopefully next time! update: the Swiss chalet followed very quickly to this review that is appreciated. it has been pointed out that improvements in their collection procedures are made in the restaurant to deal with the mentioned questions and an apology was given with the attempt to make the things right. we hope to give this place another chance, but maybe wait a bit to give this pastness a little space from the next. I should also mention that we have enjoyed many years of great dining experience at this place in the past.
