We go to this restaurant on a regular basis and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a Pizza Hut Franchise so their offerings are Pizza Hut Items. We usually get the Pan Canadian Pizza and it is always done to the great specifications set by the chain. Once had a problem with a staff member's behavior but after dealing with the regional supervisor I was more than happy abouth the way my concerns were addre... View all feedback.
What Alysson Ortiz doesn't like about Pizza Hut:
We went there as a birthday celebration as it was a Sunday & was not busy. The restaurant was only 1/2 full but awfully understaffed. Our server was friendly, courteous, & constantly apologized for the overwhelmed kitchen staff. Once the food arrived it was hot, tasty, & a good proportion for a reasonable price. My rating would be less if it wasn't for the quality & quantity of the food & the waitress who did her bes... View all feedback.
All you can eat is cheap and ok. Not great pizza. But for the price its pretty good. Not a huge selections. Staff seemed very friendly
Weekday lunch, party of 2. Lunch buffet. Lunch Buffet is $7.99 (as of Feb 12, 2014 and they used to advertise this price with a large banner outside the store (maybe taken down for winter? . I never ever ever write reviews about chain restaurants. In general, I find chains to be very bland and too similar from place to place (and it doesn't make for an interesting review . However, I've always wanted to try this lunch buffet since I used to see the banner up everyday in Waterloo. PIzzas are brought out as they are needed, there are vegetarian, pepperoni, meat mushroom and other interesting assorted pizzas. There are also sweet cinnamon things that I think are most similar to Cinnabon, as well as a dessert apple pie/cinnamon on a pizza crust base. Oddly, I didn't see a cheese pizza. The salad bar is minimal, and has not-fresh lettuce, as well as croutons and 5 salad dressings (they seemed to have a difficult time keeping the salad bar stocked with lettuce? . There is pasta baked with cheese and a cold pasta salad. If you want dipping sauce, I recommend putting a bit of salad dressing on your plate and dipping your pizza and/or crust as necessary. There is a slow cooker with tomato sauce, not sure if it's for the pizza, for the crust (there are small plastic sample cups beside it or for the pasta. It feels like this Pizza Hut is under-staffed, there seems to be only one guy who takes care of all the tables and seats people, which obviously leads to delays in clearing plates, filling drinks and seating people. Lots of parking behind the building. But making a left turn out of the parking lot onto University may be difficult since Weber/University is a busy intersection. My curiosity is satisfied now.... I will probably come here again to see if it's any different (and because $7.99 lunch buffet price. : .
Went for dinner on a Sunday night when dropping my son back to university. There were people waiting for take out and about 8 tables with people at them. There was only one server for the entire place as apparently the second one did not come to work that day. There were uncleared tables and the floor was messy as all other staff were working the kitchen. My son ordered a small pan pizza and I wanted a personal size, but since I wanted gf, I was forced to get a small size. I ordered pesto sauce on mine but when it arrived 30 minutes later, it was tomato sauce. The server offered to have it remade but after that long wait, we just wanted to get out of there. They no longer had the smoked pepperoni or smoked cheddar as advertised so my son just chose pepperoni and bacon......which took forever to arrive as well. My pizza was bland and gf crust was not good. I would not go back.
Pizza Hut for the last few years has been my favorite pizza! It's usually delicious. I haven't had any for a couple months and they've moved location, and the last experience this is the worst pizza I've ever had. Below is a pic. No sauce at all the butter chicken and supreme had about 1/10th the sauce normally. No toppings the crust was 1 thick around the outside and was bland. The crust and bread was almost inedible and undercooked. Just aweful This is honestly the worst pizza I've ever had. Garbage. If I could give negative reviews I would. Aweful. Get any other pizza than this
Went to Pizza Hut university avenue on Friday February 17 night for supper. Hostess informed us at there would be a 20 minute wait because they were behind in kitchen due to take out orders. We sat down they brought are drinks and that was it. Forty five minutes later and we finally got are pizza and it wasn't very hot at all. Very disappointed because the three waitress were not serving anybody in the restaurant there pizza's . Now what is that? If they can't handle both than don't put sales on. You would think you would serve your customs in the restaurant to not just take out . Won't go back. With Mother's down the street will continue going there. Ziggy
