King Tin has moved to this new location on the ground floor of an apartment building. The map on some websites still locates it on King St. Service can be slow but the food arrives piping hot. They serve a buffet at lunch ($9.50) and Dim Sum on Saturday and Sunday 11 to 3. I haven't tried that yet. The menu is large and varied. There are many seafood dishes, casseroles and hot plates. What User dislikes about King Tin Restaurant:
New location, smaller space, somewhat smaller menu, but still better than the student-oriented Chinese eateries in W'loo. We had the "dinner for six", with steamed walleye (which the menu lists as "pickerel"). The steamed walleye was definitely the best dish of the meal, followed closely by the beef brisket casserole. This restaurant was really empty when we went but at 4:30 PM on a Monday night, what can you expect.

Peking duck (2 courses) - possibly the best in town (waterloo) It come very fast during the lunch time was a total surprise to me.

Great authentic Chinese food in a nice new looking spot in a yet to be complete building one street over from it's old location on King.

The lunch buffet food is very tasty,they kept the standard menu,sue my sweet sour soup,fried chicken wings,curry noodle sweet chinese chicken ,sweet -glutenous rice,other items,but the food is high in MSG
