Fat Bastard Burrito Co. - Waterloo

I've been here a few times before but this time I got the tequila lime chicken burrito and I was blown awayThe flavours in it are incredible.

I ordered from Fat **** Burrito todayI placed my order at 7:15 and was told my order would arrive by 7:55 and it didn't arrive until 8:20.

Had the big baja chicken burrito. It was big. It had chicken. Staff were friendly but need a refresher on sanitation procedures. Tables were sticky and smudged. Overall fine for feeding to students, but I won't be back again.

Came here today for lunch and I ordered a naked burrito aka burrito bowl. I arrived here around ten after 12 and there was no wait and really quick friendly service. I ordered a large size tequila lime chicken bowl and it was pretty big - but not quite as big as Chipotle or Holy Guacamole, which usually leave you with leftovers for dinner or next day lunch. The large bowl was just over $11.They have the options of beans, rice, and noodles (yes you can get all three) to start so I got all of them, and I'm not complaining but Chinese noodles in a burrito is super weird ...but also delicious. I found that they are pretty skimpy with the ingredients and I kept asking for extra because a small handful of iceberg lettuce does not a salad make. The ingredients are also not very fresh seeming and to be honest, you get a look into the kitchen in the back, and it doesn't look very clean either. They do give you free guac which is great, especially with the avocado shortage that is going on right now. If a huge chain like Chipotle can offer fresh (tasting) ingredients than I would hope that FBB can do better. Overall it was a pretty good lunch, not terrible, not great, and not the best bowl I've had but I'm glad I tried it.

Staff does not wash their hands. They work the cash, and prep your food, put it on the grill with no gloves after working register, and back to register. Repeat.... gross
