East Side Marios - Waterloo

Had a birthday lunch at East Side Marios in the University District. Service was slow and food was nothing special. Average at best? No need to go again.

Booked 14 family to meet and eat at Eastside in Waterloo North. Grandson's Bday age 8 and wanted their special Cotton Candy Drink they serve to the kids as he enjoyed our last visit a month before this date. Only reason just wanted that drink. Other kids also excited to get their drink. Restaurant is very clean and organized and staff are all great kids working their parttime jobs All attentive and continue to communicate the repetitive updates on when the food is coming. Tough job for them. They seem to walk from table to table telling everyone the same line. Food is coming soon but will wait on average well over an hour or an hour and half for it to come. So disappointed with the kitchen....cooks........love the place and the wait staff but it is too long to keep a family happy for that long and calm at a get together that is to be happy......

This restaurant has good food the service was even better and clean place to eat they haves good n menu l would go again

Went to celebrate my son's birthday. We arrived at 5pm and got our order placed very quickly. Our food didn't arrive until 5:55pm. My Chicken Tetrazzini had scallops in it and when I pointed it out to the server she argued that I was wrong. I didn't eat it as the fish smell was repulsing my family so I sent the plate back so they could enjoy theirs. After eating we sat for another 45 minutes waiting on my son's cake (was single bite brownie) and to be offered dessert to the rest of us. 2 stars are ONLY because they still have the best ceaser salad around.

We eat there often, good atmosphere, poeple are great, food is good and service is done in time, we recommande this restaurent
