What User doesn't like about Dragon Court Restaurant:
I was hoping to go to Crystal Palace for their lunch buffet but it was closed. So instead I went to the Dragon Court Restaurant. The menu seemed to have a wide variety for lunch. I ordered a plate with beef, green pepper and onion. When the plate arrived it was beef with broccoli, mushrooms and onion. I didn't want to send the plate back and I like broccoli and mushrooms, so I decided to just stick with what was broug... View all feedback.
This Chinese restaurant is the worst I've ever been to. I am from Sichuan and I know what authentic spicy Sichuan food tastes like.
I have dined in the restaurant as well as ordered takeout from there.
Went there with my family on a cold night for dinner. The advantage is that there is no crowd anywhere you go when it is a cold night. There were only 3 tables occupied when we arrived.Service was prompt, by the lady boss herself. There was no recommendation of dishes, but we ordered the family feast which came with 7 dishes for $45! We got to sample 7 dishes at a low price. How's that for value for money. The quality of the food was also good, not watered down to cater to caucasian taste buds. The chinese tea was not free, though, as it is supposed to be in most chinese restaurants.BTW, parking is limited, and made worse by road construction right in front of the restaurant. Took us a while to find a parking lot and the restaurant. But as I said, it was a cold night, so it was still easy by downtown standards.

The rice was cold and the beef dish was cold on the outside and not hot until you dug into the middle. It tasted ok but such a shame that it came cold.Portion size was good for the price. And the meal also came with a spring roll and a choice of two soups.May try Dragon Court Restaurant again if Crystal Palace is permanently closed.
