This is the place to go for great chicken wings. Most other offerings are pub grub, maybe too much deep fried fare. They have a deck for summer seating. It is dark decor and poor lighting inside. Service can be spotty, the waitresses work hard but there aren't enough. My personal, biggest complaint is that they insist upon playing music too loud and reluctantly turn it down a small amount. Unnecessarily loud music ca... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chill Bar and Grill:
I hate to rate low because this is honestly an awesome establishment - but booze/drug fuelled regulars are doing more damage than I think the owner knows. There's a certain regular crowd that shows up from time to time who are nothing but loudly profane and making team coke trips to the washroom (they don't hide it when you're in there) - these customers are starting to give the chill a pretty bad reputation amongst... I went to The Chill tonight with two friends. I hadn't been in a long time due to Covid, but we were greeted by Tracy as if she had just seen us yesterday. It was wing night, with wings priced at $0.99 each, which was a great value and delicious. We had a delightful evening on the deck, enjoying good food and cold beer. I will definitely be back!
Great find in Waterloo. We literally stumbled upon this place, when we had a craving for wings, and my wife asked if there is a place nearby that has 'Wednesday night wing special '. We googled our location and Chill came up. We check the mostly decent reviews, and called to make a reservation for 3. And we weren 't disappointed. The service was quick, courteous and friendly. Drinks arrived quickly, our wing order was taken promptly. The wings were surprising larger than normal, meaty and properly prepared, all 3 sauces were spot on. We 'll be back, and next time we might order something else off the menu, as other items also looked interesting.
Great neighbourhood/sports bar. It is the template for a sports bar/grill , always a game on with good food and good friends.
This restaurant is a charming little bar that offered delicious St. Patrick's Day stew and provided excellent service, even though it was quite crowded. There were many regulars present who were knowledgeable about the menu.
Great neighbourhood gathering place for us! Foods good, staff's friendly!
