We absolutely love the delicious food at this charming restaurant and concession store owned by John and Dawn. It reminds me of a time when meals were served with care by a family-run business.
I always make it a point to stop here for breakfast at least once during our camping trips. The French toast is incredible! The owners are very friendly, too. It's enjoyable to browse the gifts and other items while waiting for our meal.
This is a small convenience store, bait shop, and grill located just outside the entrance to Two Rivers State Recreation Area. It's a privately owned establishment and is not run by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. While their selection isn't the largest, they offer most items that campers might forget or run out of. Prices tend to be higher here, partly because they know customers are more likely to pay a premium for convenience instead of driving into Omaha for supplies. Additionally, as a smaller operation, they lack the purchasing power of larger retailers, which means they don't receive the best wholesale pricing from suppliers. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast here is consistently fantastic, and it's absolutely worth the wait when the place is busy.
