All in our group thought the salads, bread and appetizers were very good. The main course, walleye and one ribeye and one fillet to be well below average. The ladies did not care for the seasonings on the walleye and the guys steaks were low quality and not prepared the way ordered. One steak was nearly well done when ordered medium rare and my steak was rare when ordered medium View all feedback.
What KevinL doesn't like about Otis & Henry's - Isle Casino Waterloo:
The waitress neglected to bring our salads until we reminded her when the main course was served. Despite few customers in the dining area, there was a long wait for our food. The quality of the food is consistently good, but the service has been below par on our recent visits. View all feedback.
My only complicity to be the rib eye steak was not usually served by the quality. walleye meal was fantastic.
The most important entrees were wonderful (one had steak/two had pasta.) our waiter was very attentive.
All in our group thought the salads, the brot and the appetizers were very good. the main course, 2 walleye and a ribeye and a filet to be well under the average. the ladies did not care about the spices on the walleye and the young steaks were low quality and not prepared the ordered away. a steak was almost well done when ordered medium rare and my steak was rare when ordered medium.
The first order was good. we waited 20 minutes for our drinks. then the server disappeared 20 minutes before our order. the order was finally taken and further drinks ordered. server stayed every 10 minutes or so and checked us. still no eating as we watched the guests who had come to us to finish their meal and leave. we contacted our server and she admitted that our order had been placed incorrectly and she would wipe out ours. 20 minutes later our food arrived. the ribeye steak was almost unusable due to the amount of fat on the steak and then came the filet. it seemed strangely shaped and grisly looked out. When the server met the cook, he admitted that it was a sirloin! They had replaced it when our job was so drunk and the sirloin was ready from another job. when the hostess was made aware of the situation, it immediately corrects by adjusting the bill for the sirloin! thank you, but that seemed a little small. we were on the table for an hour and 45 minutes and could barely eat two of the four meals and we still owe $109! how would they evaluate the dinner? Happy jubilee
We eat at the casino at least once a week. It was my birthday and this was the first time that we ate at the steakhouse. The salmon that my wife had was fishy tasting and overcooked. My ribeye steak was grisly and tough. We did not care for the lettuce wedge. Yesterday we ate at the Brew Brothers and I had a steak. The steak you could cut with a Fork, needed no steak sauce had no Gristle and was delicious. I brought this to the attention of greeter at Brew Brothers. We have never gotten a meal that was not excellent Brew Brothers. I'm sorry for the negative critique but I'm just trying to be honest.
