Casey's - Waterloo
Casey's
Description
This roadside Casey's delivers tasty breakfast pizza and burritos, good coffee, stocked shelves and friendly staff, making it a convenient stop with average gas prices. Service inconsistencies—pump/payment hiccups, slow pump resets, order mistakes (meat on meatless pizza), occasional stale snacks—and restrooms needing attention temper the experience. Management has remade orders when contacted, so it’s a handy, mostly satisfying stop that could benefit from tighter quality control.

I drove 7 miles out of my way to get cheap gas, but I ended up paying an extra 60 cents per gallon because they forgot to activate their E85 pump. They charged my card before realizing it. Pumping 8 gallons of gas took over 20 minutes because they can't reset the pumps until no one is using them. I would recommend Casey's instead, but I know you won't take my advice.
I ordered a pizza without meat, however when I got the pizza, there was meat on it. I went back inside and the attendant said he would remake it for me however the manager stepped in and said they would not remake it and if I wanted a pizza without meat, I would have to pay for another one.
The breakfast pizza and breakfast burritos are both quite tasty. However, the bathrooms could use some improvement, which is why I'm giving this place a 4 out of 5.
The taco pizza was underwhelming as it lacked the requested toppings, despite paying extra for them. The chips we received were stale as well. Just a heads up for anyone ordering pizza from this Casey's. On a positive note, the cashier was very friendly. After reaching out to the store, they kindly remade my order, and you can definitely tell they put in the effort this time. Thank you for making it right!
