Cowlick's Creamery - Waterford

This restaurant serves Hershey’s Ice Cream and offers only outdoor seating, contrary to the listing that claims indoor dining is available; the dining room has turned into a break room/storage area filled with clutter. The staff clearly focuses on making ice cream, but the overall condition of the building was dirty and disorganized. For instance, bathroom supplies were piled next to empty dispensers. However, I did notice that the seating area seemed to have been cleaned that day, as the tables had visible stickiness and drips. Additionally, the staff appeared to lack training regarding the 'Ice Cream Trail,' which the location is featured in; they were unaware of how to handle map collections and simply told us to mail them in ourselves. I hope this is just a temporary staffing issue, as we have enjoyed visiting this location for years.

This place is fantastic! I visit four to five times each summer with my family, and we always have amazing sundaes. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, the cleanliness is impressive, and there’s a large yard for kids to play in.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious and will definitely satisfy your taste buds! However, I did notice that the flavors can sometimes be overly sweet and often seem to be a mix of several different ingredients.

We had an amazing first experience at Cowlick's! My family joined us, and everyone loved their choices, whether it was a sundae, hard ice cream, or soft serve! The setting is charming, especially with the cows and the boat available for sitting. They offer a fantastic selection, and we will definitely return when we visit our family in Connecticut again!

This place has the best ice cream in town! I really appreciate the variety they offer, and the prices are reasonable. The outdoor seating area is also a nice touch. I’ll definitely be returning!
