Macarthy Fair Take Away

Foods pretty good here, usually just get some fish and chips - servings of chips are pretty generous.. not long to wait for your food. Not my number 1 fish and chips place in Bris but definitely in the top 5!

This would be one of the best takeaway food outlets in the Brisbane area as far as value for money goes. The helpings are huge in some cases, the chips take a Goliath to be able to eat all. If you are into dep fried takeaway food, this is the place to try.The staff are very friendly and obliging, but if you are there near lunchtime there can be a wait as the locals know hwre is best, probably not more than 20 minutes wait usually, but well worth it.

I have frequented this restaurant many times over the years. They offer competitive prices and the food is consistently good. They also have a variety of great deals available if you are purchasing multiple items.

The gravy lacked flavor and tasted like water. Additionally, I ordered seafood bites but received fish bites. The portion of chips was not enough for six people and cost $7.

Macarthy is a fantastic destination with a variety of convenient services including a grocery store, restaurants, tax office, salon, Family Doctors, takeaway shop, bakery, and a BWS shop. This local spot is welcoming and friendly, making it a must-visit establishment.
