Allium - Waterbury Center

We went for a birthday lunch for We were greeted by perhaps the best server I have ever encountered at a restaurant. We decided to sit outdoors as the weather was clearing. No problem pushing tables together. She took everything in stride. Her name was Rose and she was a gem. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and the dessert board the Chef put together was exquisite. Allium is my new favorite restaurant and I am telling everyone

The food was tasty, my gin and tonic was mediocre. Our vegetarian guest had a delicious option and our wine drinkers were more than satisfied. We opted to eat outside where street traffic was quite noisy and high stools could present at problem for some diners

The waiter was very well-informed about gluten-free options and made sure to confirm each one with the chef. The French onion soup was excellent. Additionally, they offer gluten-free beer on their menu.

Fun..casual...terrific wait staff! Very interesting lunch menu for a small local spot. Place one might not notice..but worth the trip

We enjoyed our meal and our server was excellent. the food was great; we had the scallops and the polenta cake. We sat outside which was pleasant, although the street noise was occasionally objectionable, but not surprising
