Great experience. Delicious chips and fire roasted salsa. Rice was a little dry, but everything else was absolutely tasty. Prices were reasonable. Sopapillas were fine but the menu said 6 pcs and I think they gave us 5. Also wish the honey was on the side to put into them. Overall good experience View all feedback.
What O3Chaos doesn't like about Frescos Cocina:
Good salsa, great house queso. My gf said her mojito was great. Got fajitas for two. Came with enough steak for 1 person and cost $46, which I don't recall seeing on the menu. Food was adequate but definitely not worth that price. The steak was tough, chewy, and was swimming in a soup of too finely sliced onions and peppers. Server was inattentive but helpful when we could flag her down. View all feedback.
I wish I had gotten the same plate us the guy next to us, our food was delicious. My husband greatly enjoyed the margaritas Joaquin (our server) recommended and so did I. 7/24/24-We were there in Wednesday for Lotería Night. The whole family enjoyed their food and the ambiance. Sorry to all the other tables, we didn’t mean to keep winning…lol. My husband ordered the Texican and the meat was amazing, juicy and tender.
Been coming to fresco‘s for 20+ years and the food is always great! They recently did a decor update and the place looks great! Our server Randon was great, friendly and professional. Thanks for great food and great customer service!
The food was good but my recent experience the chicken was dry other wise the rest was great the supreme queso is awesome we usually go here after a round of disc golf and the area is nice for a dinner out and the environment is c cozy and comfortable enough to feel okay with a group of people in our golf outfits just having a nice group lunch together. : drinks are great loved the mango margarita!
When we walked in the door, we were met with a frown. I get not everyone is roses and sunshine but a brief smile would have been nice. The entry way carpet was filthy. We were a party of 4. The waitress took us to our booth which was clearly a booth for 2. There was no way we could have all sat there with drinks and food. It was tight elbow to elbow. I asked if we could be moved to a larger booth or table. Boy, we burst someone’s bubble. The waitress and the hostess made it clear they were not happy. Even the balloon guy was side eyeing us! I know there is a certain order they have to seat tables because of servers areas but you do not have to treat customers like they told you the world is ending. Our waiter was soft spoken but semi friendly. The whole place looked like it needed a good clean. I love a whole in the wall but this was not that. The salsa was not hot and the chipotle or adobo sauce was overpowering. It was like they dumped a can of tomatoes and a can of chipotle in a bowl and called it salsa. Then my husband asked for a regular tomato salsa and it was again a can of tomatoes with the faintest hint of cilantro and onion. No spice at all. Food was okay. It was standard-get at any Tex-Mex chain. More Tex than Mex. Won’t be going back.
