We weren't sure at first how many people in our party as one or two people might or might not have come. When we expressed moving to a bigger table when we thought there were going to be two extra people she said it was out of her section and offered to move the next table onto ours. In the end we didn't really need the extra room as one of the two extras didn't show. The food was great. I got the all you can eat special. They came in a small plate the same as the ones for bread. You got 2 pieces, French fries and jalapeno hush puppies. Then you don't get to have any kind of bottles except salt and pepper. Me and my sister wanted ketchup they gave 2 little packs. When we asked for more the waitress was super nice and brought out more in little containers. Then when asking for more as it's all you can eat you get 1 and fries.
Chicken Fried Steak for National Chicken Fried Steak Day! This mouthwatering Southern comfort dish did not let us down! We opted not to order lunch, and we're so glad we did! The steak was large and fried to crispy perfection. We also enjoyed the Broccoli and Rice Casserole, Sweet Potato Fries, Cheese Potato Soup, and Mac and Cheese. Everything was incredible, and the warm, delicious rolls were a nice touch too!
I never had a bad experience in this place. Today, the lack of personnel caused the waiting for our food very long. But the waitress smiled and the food was amazing. Very good children's meal too! Always clean.
The service was excellent, and the menu offered a nice variety of options without feeling overwhelming. The Chicken Fried Chicken was cooked to perfection—there wasn’t a trace of oil left on the plate. I usually hesitate to order fried dishes because I’m unsure if the oil will be hot enough to cook it properly, but this place definitely knows how to do it right! The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were just right, made with skin-on red potatoes. While I didn’t detect much garlic flavor, they were well-seasoned and delicious. I asked for the gravy on the side because I preferred my chicken crispy rather than smothered in gravy, but the gravy itself was tasty, and I dipped into it occasionally with my chicken and potatoes. I also had steamed broccoli as a side, which was fantastic—perfectly steamed and lightly buttered. Overall, I was very pleased with my lunch. I’m only in town for a few more days, but I’d happily return next time I’m in the area. My daughter recommended Cotton Patch, and I’m so glad she did.
We hadn’t visited in a few months, and wow, the restaurant has improved tremendously! Every staff member greeted us warmly as we arrived. The team worked together seamlessly to serve customers. The tables and restrooms were spotless. Our food was beautifully presented on the plates. Honestly, I can’t think of anything they could have done better. I’m excited to return soon. If you’re with 2-3 people, definitely try their brisket queso—it’s delicious!
