The welcome was very friendly, the atmosphere was lovely and cozy, and beautifully decorated. It's a family-run business. At first, we were skeptical because we wanted to try mussels from the Rhine region. Since we were at a Portuguese restaurant, we enjoyed Portuguese mussels after receiving excellent advice from the owner. We also ordered bread. I have to say, they tasted fantastic. Bread with herb butter was included as a starter. The father and daughter were very attentive, often asking if we needed anything else and if we were enjoying our meal. We could only pay in cash, not by card, although I don't know if that's always the case. The restaurant was very busy on Friday evening. We were allowed to bring our three dogs into the restaurant. My only minor complaint was that no water was offered for the dogs. There was drinking water for the dogs outside in the conservatory. The conservatory had patio heaters, but we still sat inside. The price/performance ratio was perfectly fine. The restrooms were excellent. In conclusion: We will definitely come back; the food was delicious and we felt very comfortable.
