Silo - Washington DC

Really tasty, delicious! Big portion,great service! It was my birthday and have a birthday cake at American bar is really wonderful!

Silo isn't only the best neighborhood bar in DC, but it's one of the best bars, period. Each and every employee is so warm and welcoming. I've had James as my waiter and he's so sweet and informative about the specials and the menu. I've also come in just for drinks and their bartenders are the most attentive. Luke guides you through the menu and gives you his best recommendations while also letting you sample delicious drinks he's creating on his own. Even on my picky days, Luke knows exactly what I'm looking for and can come up with a cocktail on the fly. Besides the service, the space itself is also beautiful and full of character. From the exposed brick and hand-painted mural to the unique movie posters in the bathroom, everything is so unique and memorable. Everyone in DC should stop by Silo at some point.

VERY good!!! The sizes do vary plate to plate though(drastically) and so if you're easily jealous, may not be the best place to eat with other people.

Highly recommend Silo! I came here for a Sunday brunch with a girlfriend service was great, food was delicious, bottomless mimosas were truly bottomless $14), and the ambience and music were great. Best of all, it wasn't crowded or crazy loud. The shrimp and grits were so good with generously sized shrimp and the chicken and waffles was delish perfectly crispy chicken and sweet waffles. My new favorite brunch spot. They close around 3 pm to prepare for the dinner crowd, so call beforehand if you're coming late.

Fantastic place to grab a drink with friends and have a great night out. The bartender service is great and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting.
