Quaint cafe with a full menu of lunch items along with some great baked goods. The upstairs seating is cozy overlooking the street. The service is a bit slow, but quality of food is excellent. If you are not concerned about time, it is definitely a pleasant place to eat and chat with your friends. View all feedback.
Charming cafe offering a comprehensive lunch menu alongside delicious baked treats. The upstairs seating area is cozy and provides a nice view of the street. While the service can be a bit slow, the food quality is superb. If you’re not in a rush, this is certainly a delightful spot to enjoy a meal and catch up with friends.
I didn’t sample the food myself, but my wife tried a slice of the bread as we were passing by and ended up wanting to buy a whole loaf. So, we decided to stop in and enjoy a couple of coffees. While I can’t say much about the coffee itself—it’s coffee, after all—the ambiance of the bakery was lovely. It had a slightly upscale feel without being over the top, and it was just quiet enough for us to relax and have a nice conversation.
This is a really charming spot with great food. I would have given it a full five stars, but the service is lacking and the bathrooms could use some improvement. The almond croissant is fantastic, and they prepare an excellent cappuccino.
It's a great place for a coffee and pastries their sandwiches are delicious as well. You need to go up stairs for table service. They have a nice view of George town and Wisconsin avenue.
Such a splendid little gem! I've been here for two years and could not believe I had never eaten here before. The fare is not heavy, but it is fresh and satisfying. Certainly pricey for the typical college student, but for anyone else that is easily justified by the safe, comfortable atmosphere and the professional, multi-lingual service. Not a bad spot for a brunch date.
