What an incredible dining experience! The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the curry variety platter, which was generous without being too much. Every dish was fantastic, including the chicken, lamb, spinach, lentils, and rice. The appetizers were lovely as well. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to explore more dishes. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating to our toddler son. The atmosphere was wonderful too.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and offered great value for the price. If you’re considering giving a restaurant in DC one star simply because you think it’s too expensive, you might be better off grabbing a sandwich from Wawa or cooking for yourself at home. Grocery stores have plenty of affordable and fresh ingredients that allow you to prepare whatever you like—just use YouTube or TikTok as your recipe guide. I will definitely be back; this restaurant deserves 4 out of 4 stars!
I just have to say that this is the most delicious Indian food I have ever tasted in my life. The quality is outstanding, which is why the prices are on the higher side. While the service might not be flawless, the food is nothing short of divine. I don't order Indian food anywhere else because it pales in comparison to what this incredible restaurant offers. My favorite dishes include chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and butter chicken, paired with garlic naan. The chicken is perfectly cooked, and although the bowls may appear small, the portions are quite generous; I often find it challenging to finish even one dish due to how filling they are. As a very discerning critic, I was surprised to see that this place has a rating of 4.1. If we’re judging solely on the food, it deserves a solid 5 out of 5, and I mean that wholeheartedly. Well done, Heritage India. Thank you for serving one of my favorite cuisines! Best, -M
I've visited this restaurant several times and have consistently enjoyed my meals. The staff is always very friendly and eager to offer recommendations on what to order.
This is my favorite Indian food restaurant in DC. The lamb vinadaloo is the best here. It's spicy and full of flavor. The rasmalai is one of the best.
