This app seriously needs a 1/2 star option. As it was better than 4 star but not 5. Butter chicken was on point. Almost too much meat to sauce ratio as I ordered the garlic Naan to lap up the butter chicken sauce. Spice and flavor wise it's a soliddish. The mango lassee was solid as well. For desert went with the cream brule option and it was 3.5ish. They prepare it withtheir own twist and maybe that's why it's 3.5 to my pallette. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great and for the empty calories I wantsome great dessert. But give it a try and let me know what you think.

Leaning more towards a 3.5. We initially came for happy hour to get their Kati rolls, but once we were seated we were told the happy hour is only at the bar. We decided to have dinner and order from the menu. We started with the samosa chaat which waspretty disappointing. Very small and didn't have all the usual toppings. For entrees we split the allepey fish curry, lamb shankcurry, tandoori chicken, and paneer masala. We also ordered 3 garlic naans. This was all split within a party of 5. Out ofeverything we ordered the fish curry was the best thing. It was sea bass which was delicious and really flavorful. The lamb waspresented well, but the taste was a little bland. The naan was good but small, order at least one per person. Mango lassi wasgood. Overall out of everything we ordered I only enjoyed my mango lassi and the fish curry. Everything else was average.

The food was excellent, I found the flavors to be extremely unique. The jamun was the only let down, though the ice cream made up for it. The service was bad enough to ruin the dining experience. Our waiter was not courteous and couldn’t care lessabout us.

In Washington DC after visiting various attractions all day we went to Indian restaurants called Pappe! Every food item on a menu has some kind of twist and fusion but that does not compromise the authentic tastes of Indian food. The place has anamazing raw and authentic ambience. We tried Indian thali and it was awesome.

This restaurant review seriously needs a 1/2 star option. It was better than a 4-star rating but not quite 5 stars. The butter chicken was delicious, with a good balance of meat and sauce. I ordered garlic naan to soak up the butter chicken sauce, which was a solid dish in terms of spice and flavor. The mango lassi was also very good. For dessert, I tried the creme brulee, which I would rate around 3.5 stars. It had a unique twist to it that didn't quite match my taste preferences. Overall, the food was not bad, but it wasn't outstanding either.
