Great cuisine and first-rate service. The medium-well-ordered steak was cooked to absolute perfection.Nice setting, roomy chairs, and excellent air conditioning. Perfect! View all feedback.
Excellent Spaghetti a la Puttanesca! The flavor and the spaghetti texture was good.
Didn't actually get what I ordered but it was close enough and still quite good. Large portions and good for kids. Limited options in the immediate vicinity so this is a safe bet for hotel guests. Excellent service. Prices are DC comparable for casualdining.
So apparently at Amsterdam Falafel, they weigh your build-your-own salad bowls. But at this L'enfant location, they don't weigh anything! So you can build a salad bowl as big as you want it. Nice. I love the hummus, tahini, and peanut sauces, but it's easy to go overboard. All in all, AF can get a little greasy and heavy-feeling, but if you take it easy you'll be fine. I think it's a better deal to get a huge salad bowl and a pita on the side; you get more food and you can build your sandwich as you go instead of trying to rush and shove ingredients between your falafel balls in the line.
This mall has several good options for vegans near the Smithsonian museums. Amsterdam Falafel is one of my favs because the fries are so good. This time they oversaled something, but after a little shake it was good. You have an allergen menu clearly what not to eat when you are vegan, lactose intolerant, gluten-free, etc. Very nice! I wish I had a picture of it to post. Many vegan toppings for a super yum falafel.
This food dish option had falafel as main and you can adjust your bowl. It was okay, but I wouldn't go out for this place.
