Our first time there today and it was wonderful despite some trashy people that were so disrespectful and had to be thrown out. They left a review saying they were discriminated against which is not at all the case. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and very sweet. We will be back very soon! Love Backwater Jacks! Excellent food. I ate tonight when a tornado went through Washington. The funnel cloud on the river. The staff of BWJ got everyone safe in a closet until the funnel cloud passed. No injuries! Thanks for thinking about us BWJ and putting your customers first! I love BWJs!

This is my favorite place to eat. Love the view and the vibes. My only complaint would be that it is seasonal and I could eat here at any time
What a wonderful place! We stopped by Washington to visit friends and they all recommended Backwater Jack's as THE place place to go. I completely agree.
