Tim Hortons - Washington

This restaurant is located in a truck stop setting, with Dairy Queen, Little Caesar's, and a convenience store/gas station all housed in one building. While the selection of donuts is not extensive, they offer a variety of sandwiches and coffee options. The staff is extremely friendly and patient.

We were excited to find this restaurant in the United States after visiting Canada. It's a bit hidden away and in a strip mall, so you have to keep an eye out or you might miss it. The place looked clean from what we could see. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the frozen coffees were delicious.

Having lived in Canada, I was skeptical that the new English version of Tim Hortons could compare to the original. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The White Hot Chocolate was just as delicious as I remembered, unlike any other I've tried in the UK. The Timbits, especially the Reindeer noses, were fantastic. The coffee was just as amazing as it was back in Canada. My daughter enjoyed her smoothie and my other daughter liked her iced coffee. I can't wait to go back and try the hot food next time. I hope they also offer the Hot Apple Cider during Christmas, similar to the Canadian stores. The service we received was outstanding.

The chicken is delicious, the bread is not dry at all. I love the taste of the crispy chicken burger. The doughnuts are too sweet for my liking, but my daughter absolutely loves them.

Stopped off on a long car journey for some lunch as an alternative to McDonald's. My Wife and I had Chicken burger meals, which were nice, and my son had the chicken wrap which he said was comparable to the aforementioned. The doughnuts are what we really went for, and the box of 6 is great value compared to the individual ones. It was over £30 for what would have cost £20 at McDonald's or KFC, and I can't see the extra value. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
