Was Iron T at Its Friday a mag?
Really chill place. The music they were playing was smooth and not loud. The staff good people. They interacted with the guests and you could tell the regulars. They remember who you are. A small town feel for a very big city. I didn't eat but the food smelled great and it was full of people eating. Just a really good chill place to start the night. View all feedback.
I stumbled upon this delightful restaurant and bar while trying to escape the rain after a disappointing ramen meal. Still hungry, I was excited to find a Belgian restaurant, especially since there aren't any in my hometown. I'm so glad I discovered Granville Moore's, and I will definitely be coming back! I ordered the mussels marinière, and they were absolutely amazing—full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by fresh bread for soaking up the delicious buttery garlic sauce left in the bowl. The beer selection was impressive, but I opted out this time. The service was prompt and very friendly. The building has a rich history, though I missed out on the complete story since the historical sign was outside and it was raining when I arrived. It’s a beautiful space that offers a unique atmosphere for a fun night out. I will certainly return!
You may be wondering about the name of this modest tavern on H Street. It is named after a doctor who worked in the same building and offered free medical care to the community. If I lived nearby, I would surely come here every Monday for their $12 mussel specials or take advantage of their great happy hour (Wednesday to Monday from 5 to 7 PM). It truly is a local treasure! I definitely plan to visit again the next time I'm in the area.
During my visit, I had the mussels and fries, and as a first-time mussel taster, they really set a high bar! The flavors were outstanding, and I enjoyed dipping the fries in the delicious sauces provided. The atmosphere beautifully evokes the charm of a classic pub, and I would certainly come back if I'm in the area again. Thank you, Granville Moore's!
This place is a gem located on H st , it resembles an Irish Pub, I bring all friends here and they love it. Food is excellent, happy hour is great and the dishes are pretty shareable. Great selection of yum beers, the service is pretty good as well. Make sure to try the mussels and the Brussels Sprouts.
This was delicious. The mussels are said to be famous here and boy was that true! There was a generous portion in the bowl and it was sauced to perfection. The service was kind even with the room being a little cramped. I loved the Belgian atmosphere, like it was old Brussels! Recommend.
