I had a craving during my pregnancy and decided to try this place for dinner since it was nearby. Ordering was easy because the person taking my order spoke and understood English. We ordered two combos of sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice, and they also included two egg rolls. The chicken was delicious and the rice was tasty, although I would have preferred smaller pieces of vegetables as there were large mushrooms. Not a big deal, but it's my new go-to Chinese restaurant.
I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the sesame chicken with rice and hot and sour soup. The portion size was very generous, enough to easily serve two people.
I ordered the Large Sweet and Sour chicken dinner from China Town at 26 Jewell. The restaurant is very small with a tiny sign out front. It is exactly where Google Maps says it is, but the sign is very small. For the $10.52 I paid, I received a large container of delicious fried chicken, a medium-sized container of white rice, a large container of Sweet and Sour Sauce, a fortune cookie, two packs of soy sauce, and several napkins. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and the portion size was generous. The transaction was fast and my order was ready on time. I was in and out within 2 minutes. The taste of the food was an 8/10, appearance was 10/10, value was 10/10, and overall experience was 10/10. I will definitely be back to satisfy my Chinese food cravings.
We've been here for almost 5 years and enjoy the food and service. Most of the time we eat in the restaurant, which seems to be rare here, although there are plenty of seats. Although we generally like China Towns food much, we were disappointed the last two times that our Kung pao chicken was not as sharp as it was always before. The great help of chicken and vegetables was very well cooked, but tasted us a little. We like a little heat, and I love her hot sour soup.
Due to covid19, there are only two Chinese food places open near me (PF Chang's and Panda Express).
