Shalimar Indian Restaurant - Warwick

Where though? There is no where else to go for Indian in Warwick. So? Go to Coles Supermarket in Warwick; it stocks freshly made, and sealed, curries, entrees, breads etc... which are much, much better than Shalimar's food. I'm not joking. The curries are located at the back of the fresh produce section, in front of the delis.

This was the only sit down Indian restaurant we found in Warwick so thought we'd give it a try. Don't let the plastic table clothes and lino floor put you off. The staff were friendly and unassuming. We ordered butter chicken, lamb curry, veg biriyani, onion bhaji and garlic naan and all the food was delicious, very tasty with quality meat. I would definitely return to this restaurant and would recommend others to it. The only down side was they did not have many drinks to choose from. Plenty of soft drinks but only a very few select beers and no wine.

Could have been more meat in the dishes. Taste was excellent, service good too. And not too hot, unlike some other Indian restaurants.

Yummy butter chicken with cheesy garlic naan I think every one should try staff so friendly and well known about the menu

Have been there with friends second time in a week I love the food and service . Best Indian food in the town .highly recommended.
